07378 284025 My parents told me that I took to cricket at the age of four when I used my size 00 cricket bat to hit my grandmother when she wanted to stop reading to me. Apparently I didn’t middle much then … More happily I have played cricket in Sussex, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Cheshire and Switzerland as life has moved me to those various locations before arriving in Devon where Yelverton Bohemians is my home club. My personal highlights have included scoring a hundred at Hambledon, seeing the tied Test in Madras (now Chennai) and playing cricket on some beautiful grounds at home and abroad. If, like me, you feel that every game is a bonus, and that whilst you have played at a decent standard in your younger days, playing against Gen Zs , is increasingly tricky, have you considered playing some over 60s cricket?
